Library

The library holds a growing number of books directly related to NYC educational programs. Students have access to the on-line libraries of the collaborating Universities, through accounts provided upon registration.

NYC Library

The library at NYC is situated on campus, offering 12-hour access every day and from 10:00am-3:00pm in the weekends. The college's library collection includes books in all study fields, journals, magazines, and newspapers, while all NYC students have electronic access to the e-Library of the partner Universities as well as to the Emerald. The collection is arranged by subject and is open for browsing and borrowing. There is also a capacity of study space including PCs with access to INTERNET and printing facilities. An access catalogue allows each student to search for books and check what can be borrowed and what is on reserve.

There are a variety of loan periods ensuring access to key books for all students. Term textbooks are on reserve only. Our Librarian and the assistants will not only tell you where to find a book, but they can also advise you on the best book or journal for your subject matter, talk you though the best way of searching effectively, provide you with a list of other libraries in your city, and help you borrow books from other libraries. Searching for a book is not the only time you might need support. If you want audiovisual equipment, surf the net, video projector to rehearse your presentation; a study room to get grips with a group presentation, the Librarian and staff cater for all of these needs.
