SECURITY MANAGEMENT | TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS
TEACHING & LEARNING METHODS
Teaching & Learning Methods The course is delivered through the classical educational method of face to face inside the class but by a flexible way. It means that teacher always supports them through a flexible compiled learning material. The Nadler’s Model or the Model of critical events it is applied. It means that the provided knowledge spills over the costs. Students are expected to study primary and secondary texts, and to be exposed to up-dated materials. Students are also able to make use of the e-learning platform, which provides them with additional materials and links to relevant sources. Students also have opportunities for peer and self-assessment in order to develop their skills in being responsible for their own learning and development. Many training tactics are used e.g. peristyle tactic, in-basket training method, the Schuotz method of contact formation of the new knowledge, the conference tactic and the case studies. Concerning the evaluation (internal evaluation of the course) the Likert’s scale is in use. |
