Important scientific publication in the field of nutrition

New York College continues its dynamic presence in the international scientific community.  In this context, a very interesting article entitled An Eight-Week Mindful Eating Program Applied in a Mediterranean Population With Overweight or Obesity, was published in the prestigious international journal “Psychological Reports”. On behalf of New York College, the lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Dr. Marsha Koletsi, participated as 2nd author. The purpose of the article is the contribution of Mindful Eating in the treatment of obesity based on the adoption of a specific eating behavior. According to the results of the research, beneficial effects were observed on the psychology of the participants, but also on the treatment of overeating.
