{"id":4486,"date":"2026-04-20T14:10:53","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T11:10:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nyc.webdemo.gr\/ypotrofies\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T16:44:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T13:44:05","slug":"scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nyc.gr\/en\/admissions\/scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"0\">New York College defends the right to Education for all and, remaining committed to its academic vision, provides support mechanisms for students in need.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">More specifically:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Tuition subsidy -10%:<\/b> for scholarship recipients belonging to the following categories: a) members of single-parent families, b) members of large families (4 children and above), c) orphans, d) students who are members of families with a certified disability exceeding 67%, e) families with educator parents, or who are educators themselves, f) families with military personnel parents, or who are military personnel themselves.<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"3\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Tuition subsidy for members of the NYC community:<\/b> Tuition subsidy -10% for scholarship recipients belonging to the following categories: a) one of the siblings concurrently enrolled in the New York College Educational Group, b) students referred by a member of the New York College staff, c) students referred by a current student or alumnus\/alumna of New York College, d) students who make a full settlement of the annual tuition prior to the commencement of classes.<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"4\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Tuition subsidy -20%<\/b> for graduates of undergraduate programs of the New York College Educational Group for the continuation of their studies in an offered postgraduate program at NYC from partner foreign state universities.<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Tuition subsidy for parallel studies at a Public Higher Education Institution:<\/b> Tuition subsidy -25% for students of the Greek educational system to study concurrently at New York College and experience the American, British, or French educational model.<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"6\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Merit-based tuition subsidy for High School Diploma (Apolytirion) achievement:<\/b> Tuition subsidy ranging from 10% to 25% depending on the High School Diploma GPA as a tangible recognition of academic effort: a) High School Diploma GPA 19 \u2013 20: 25% Scholarship b) High School Diploma GPA 18 \u2013 19: 15% Scholarship c) High School Diploma GPA 17 \u2013 18: 10% Scholarship<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Athletes&#8217; tuition subsidy:<\/b> 50% tuition subsidy on offered undergraduate and postgraduate study programs for male and female athletes \u2013 members of National Teams for the entire duration of their studies, provided they remain active members of the National Team with high athletic distinctions. To remain eligible, the scholarship recipient is required to maintain full class attendance as well as high athletic and academic performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Required documentation for study scholarships:<\/b> All supporting documents required by New York College for enrollment in the applicant&#8217;s program of choice, official proof of belonging to one of the above categories, and the corresponding certificate issued electronically.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">IMPORTANT NOTE:<\/b> All the above scholarships apply strictly to tuition and not to the partner foreign state university fees, and they are <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"136\">NOT<\/b> cumulative (should a scholarship recipient qualify for more than one category).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New York College defends the right to Education for all and, remaining committed to its academic vision, provides support mechanisms for students in need.
