New York College Counselling Service

  • Counseling Service supports the psychological and emotional well being of NYC students by providing counseling and consultation - both of which adhere to strict standards of confidentiality.
  • It offers short-term individual sessions.
  • Counseling is an opportunity to talk with a mental health professional regarding concerns or problems, such as feelings of low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, academic concerns, issues with friends and family or relationship concerns.
  • Individual sessions last 45 minutes.
  • Sessions are free and available by appointment for students enrolled in the NYC.
  • Students requesting an appointment for the first time will be scheduled through a phone call with the student counselor (Tel.: 210 4838071) or send their request via email:
