Dr. Charalampidis Dimitrios P.
Dr. Charalampidis studied Economics with specialization in Business Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an MBA with specialization in Financial Management and a Philosophy Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macedonia, both with distinction. In 2013, he accomplished his postdoctoral research titled “The role of cost and asset retrenchment in company turnaround: empirical evidence from listed firms in Greece” at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has taught Accounting and Finance related courses at both the under and postgraduate level at the aforementioned universities, the University of Sheffield (City College Thessaloniki), and the Hellenic Corps Officers Military Academy. His research has been presented at several national and international academic conferences and published in national and international peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Charalampidis has worked for international research programs as researcher and administrative coordinator and as accountant. He has been with New York College since 2014 and has been the Academic Director at Thessaloniki campus since 2018.
