Dr. Papaioannou Konstantinos – Georgios
Dr. Konstantinos-Georgios Papaioannou is an exercise physiologist and sport scientist. He earned his Doctorate (Ph.D.) from Örebro University in Sweden and his Master’s degree (M.Sc.) from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, and has been awarded the title of Exercise Physiologist by the Hellenic Society of Biochemistry and Physiology of Exercise. For his doctoral studies, he received a scholarship from the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship framework. His publications have appeared in reputable scientific journals, including the Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle, Nutrients, Frontiers in Physiology, The Journal of Physiology, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, and Journal of Proteome Research. Additionally, he has presented part of his work at international conferences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in exercise physiology, exercise biochemistry, nutrition, and coaching.
