Deliakidis Panagiotis

Panagiotis Deliakidis is a Biomedical Scientist who graduated with highest honors (“Arista”) from the Biomedical Sciences program at the International Hellenic University (IHU). He holds a Master’s specialization in “Statistics and Biomedical Data Analytics” from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing his research on the epidemiological surveillance of Legionella in healthcare facility water systems in Northern Greece. Since 2024, he serves as a teaching assistant at the “Medical Statistics Laboratory” of the School of Medicine and Dentistry at AUTH, instructing undergraduate students in biomedical data analysis using statistical software. Concurrently, he works as a Biomedical Scientist at the “Water Hygiene Laboratory” of AUTH and at the “Regional Public Health Laboratory of Central Macedonia,” conducting certified microbiological testing on drinking, surface, and recreational water samples, as well as hemodialysis fluids. Furthermore, he is certified in advanced microbiological diagnostics using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, which he applies in his professional practice. He possesses skills in biostatistics and data analysis through statistical software packages and programming languages. Additionally, he actively participates as a speaker at scientific seminars and conferences. He collaborates with New York College as a lecturer for Health Sciences courses at the Thessaloniki campus.
