Theodoridis Xenofon

Xenofon Theodoridis studied Nutrition and Dietetics at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. He holds a Master’s degree from the MSc program “Nutrition in Health and Disease” of the Department of Medicine at the University of Thessaly, as well as Master’s degrees from the MSc programs “Applied Nutrition and Health Promotion” (specialization: Clinical – Medical Nutrition) and “Research Methodology in Medicine and Health Sciences” (specialization: Clinical – Medical Research) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He is currently conducting his doctoral dissertation at the AUTH Department of Medicine while holding an academic associate position in the Laboratory of Hygiene, Social and Preventive Medicine and Medical Statistics at the same department. His research interest focuses on the methodologically rigorous conduct of primary studies and meta-analyses, as well as the effect of lifestyle interventions on hypertension and macro- and microvascular complications. He has participated in research protocols regarding the effectiveness of interventions in addressing obesity and risk factors for chronic disease development, and has published over 55 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Since 2024, he collaborates with New York College as a lecturer in Health Sciences courses covering nutrition, public health, and human applications.
