Kokkinopoulou Anna

Dr. Anna Kokkinopoulou is a Clinical Dietitian – Nutritionist and holds a Doctorate from the School of Medicine at the University of Crete. She graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH) and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Health from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU). From 2021 to the present, she is an Academic Scholar in the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics at the International Hellenic University (IHU), teaching undergraduate courses across the spectrum of nutritional science, clinical dietetics, and nutritional assessment. Concurrently, she participates as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IHU (2021–present) and Harokopio University, contributing to national and European clinical trials and research projects in nutrition and childhood obesity. She is involved in major research initiatives, such as the National Action Against Childhood Obesity (in collaboration with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health), as well as WHO COSI, Armadillo, HerA, PROTEIN, and BigO programs. Her research findings have been presented at numerous national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Since 2023, she collaborates with New York College in the Dietetics and Nutrition degree program at the Thessaloniki campus.
