Kokkas Stylianos
Mr. Stylianos Kokkas studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Thessaly and holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with specialization in Natural Language Processing from the Department of Computer Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2024 he started his PhD thesis at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on “Design and development of Patient Digital Twins for personalised treatment and monitoring, and virtual assistive applications to improve quality of life”. Mr. Kokkas has been a contributing member of European Union in Virtual Human Twin initiative. His research has been presented at national and international conferences and has been published in national and international peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Computers and Electronics. Mr. Kokkas has worked in international research projects as a researcher and administrative coordinator. He has been associated with New York College since 2024, as a lecturer of the courses “Maths in Computing”, “Undergraduate Research Project”, “Databases” and “Introduction to AI”.
