Dr. Malinaki Evanthia
Dr. Evanthia Malinaki is a journalist and communication specialist holding a PhD in Health Communication from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, awarded with unanimous distinction and supported by a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation. She also holds an MA in Communication and Culture, a BA in Journalism and Mass Media Studies, and is a certified adult educator (EOPPEP). Since 2012, she has been collaborating with New York College Thessaloniki, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing, communication, and media studies. With more than 16 years of teaching experience in Greece and abroad, she also serves as an adjunct lecturer in public and private universities and colleges in Thessaloniki. Alongside her teaching activity, she is currently a researcher at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her academic and professional experience includes participation in European research projects, postdoctoral research, journalism, and media education. Her research focuses on health communication, digital media, health literacy, misinformation, and health inequalities among vulnerable populations.
