Savourdos Petros M.D.
Military Physician, specialist in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Graduate of the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Military Corps Officers Academy. Specialized in Occupational Medicine in Greece at the 251 Air Force General Hospital, “Andreas Sygros” Hospital, and “Thriasio” General Hospital of Elefsina. In 2011, he qualified as a Flight Surgeon in Aviation Medicine, possessing flight experience as crew in Hellenic Air Force fighter and training aircraft, as well as helicopters participating in Search and Rescue missions. In the past, he worked as a Physician in Air Force Combat Wings. Currently, he works at the Aviation Medicine Center (K.A.I.), where he is an authorized Aeromedical Examiner by the Civil Aviation Authority. Supervisor and instructor at the Aviation Medicine School and Flight Physiology School. Concurrently, he teaches as a Lecturer at the Hellenic Air Force Academy in Aviation Medicine, is a Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) instructor, and teaches at Air Force War College schools. He is a master’s student in the Department of Public Health Policy at the University of West Attica. Finally, he has published papers in international scientific journals and participated with presentations at Greek conferences.
