Skopelitou Stella

Stella Skopelitou holds a BSc degree in Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), a MSc degree in Criminology from Malmö University (Sweden), and multiple certificates of additional training in Criminal Psychology & Criminological Research, Judicial Psychology, Logic, and more. She has been training in Relational Frame Theory (RFT), part of the third-wave therapeutic approach Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy of Mind at University of Ioannina (Greece), with her dissertation title being: Conceptual preconditions of consciousness: a philosophical reconstruction through the analytic tradition. Her teaching methods combine theoretical knowledge, critical thinking, hermeneutic analysis, and real-life examples with an emphasis on active engagement through thorough discussions, debates, and interactive activities. Her research interests include among others language, consciousness, cognition and criminal behaviour as well as contextual behavioural science.
