Nutritionist specializing in mindful eating, eating disorders, and weight management. MSc in Health Promotion and Education, School of Medicine, NKUA. Creator of the “EATT: Mindful Eating” program. Certified Wellcoach & bodyART Instructor Level 1 & 2. His goal is to inspire and motivate individuals and groups toward behavior change and the enhancement of their health and well-being through experiential knowledge. He possesses 20 years of experience in nutritional counseling and wellness coaching, and has collaborated with multinational companies to implement employee health promotion and wellness programs. For the past 6 years, he has focused his interest on mindfulness and applying this approach to eating behavior (mindful eating). He designed and implemented the “EATT: Mindful Eating” program, the first nationwide evidence-based training/intervention in meal awareness and conscious eating behavior, helping over 70 individuals transform their relationship with food and body image. His research work was awarded at the 7th Panhellenic Conference on Health Promotion and Education (Athens 2017). He is a Visiting Lecturer (external collaborator) at the University of Suffolk, a scientific associate at the Center for Health Services Research, School of Medicine, NKUA, and Birmingham City University.
