Maragkoudaki Katerina
Katerina Maragkoudaki studied cinematography at film schools in Greece, Italy, and Australia. Since 1990, she has worked as a Director of Photography on feature and short films, receiving awards at Greek and international festivals (Drama, Thessaloniki, Alexandria). She has also worked in television on documentaries, series, and commercials. Since 1992, she has designed lighting for more than 300 theatrical productions (operas, concerts, musical performances, and dance theater in Greece and abroad). Additionally, in August 2004, she was responsible for the lighting design of the artistic gymnastics closing ceremony at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. She is a member of the GSC and the HELLENIC FILM ACADEMY and has served on the selection committees for the Thessaloniki and Drama film festivals. Since 2005, she has been teaching at the NEW YORK COLLEGE Educational Group. “The courses aim at specialization and student development in contemporary cinema and television.”
