Boulmetis Tasos
Producer, Screenwriter, and Director, Visiting Professor at the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Tasos Boulmetis was born in Istanbul and moved to Greece in 1964. He studied Physics at the UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS and Directing and Film & Television Production at the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, Los Angeles (UCLA) on a scholarship from the ONASSIS FOUNDATION. He initially worked as a teaching assistant at UCLA, and upon returning to Greece, worked as a freelance director and producer for television shows. He leads seminars and masterclasses in applied directing.
