Chardavellas Konstantinos
Konstantinos Chardavellas holds a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool, a diploma in Coaching from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a second Master’s degree in the Assessment and Management of Pharmaceutical, Occupational, and Environmental Risk from the Medical School of the University of Athens. In the past, he worked at St Thomas’ Hospital and Guy’s Hospital in London as a specialized Dietitian in the oncology unit and for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Since 2020, he has maintained a private practice in Palaio Faliro, while collaborating with gynecological clinics, oncologists, and endocrinologists across the broader Attica region. Concurrently, he is actively involved in innovation, sustainability, and environmental protection as Deputy Mayor of Palaio Faliro and General Director of the Non-Governmental Organization WESIG, which operates in the fields of sustainability and technology with initiatives involving the establishment of local circular economies in municipal markets, food waste reduction, alternative protein sources, and the application of Artificial Intelligence for diet plan creation. He has participated in European HORIZON research programs related to health, such as SMARTBEAR, a program for the prevention and management of health issues in the elderly using remote technology, and MERCURYNET, a program utilizing blockchain technology for local and national health crisis prevention and management.
