Dimitris Polydoropoulos is a director, editor, and director of photography with over 23 years of professional experience in audiovisual production. He has worked extensively in cinema, television, and documentary film, taking on key roles (editing, sound design, cinematography) in award-winning productions such as Little England and 7 Summits (Best Editing Award at DOCFEST 2025). Alongside his creative work, he is active in academia, teaching Film Studies courses at New York College Athens, with an emphasis on the theory and practice of editing, sound, and documentary filmmaking. He has also participated as a cinematographer in major European and international research and historical projects (such as Memories of the Occupation in Greece in collaboration with Freie Universität Berlin).
