Pomaski Georgios B.Sc.
World-class track and field coach with over 30 years of experience. He has won over 28 total medals for Greece (gold medal in Long Jump, Tokyo 2021, 8.41 meters) with more than 31 male and female athletes across major indoor and outdoor global championships (Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, Diamond League). International and national media have referred to him as the King of Track and Field, and he was honored with the “Coach of the Year” award by the European Athletic Association in 2017. Born in Bulgaria, he studied at a specialized sports school until 1979. At age 12, he started as a high jumper and at age 17 transitioned to the triple jump. From 1978 to 1988, he was an active triple jumper on the Bulgarian national team with a personal best of 17.03 m. Currently, he is Head Coach of S.E.G.A.S. – Hellenic Agricultural Athletics Federation / Hellenic Athletics Federation (1992–present), responsible for training talented athletes who excel in their events (long jump, triple jump, high jump) and preparing them for international competition. For each athlete, he designs an individualized training program targeting technical and psychological preparation. Georgios Pomaski has actively participated in six (6) Olympic Games.
