New York College was pleased to host a very memorable seminar by Yogesh Sarda on “Self-awareness for personal and professional success”
The event was organized by Dr Antonia Svensson, Head of the NYC Psychology Department, in collaboration with Mr Georgos Krallis, President of the non-governmental organisation Humanlinks. Participants included NYC psychology students who are undertaking internships at Humanlinks, NYC Psychology Club members, other member of the wider NYC community, members of the organisation Humanlinks and several members of the general public.
The speaker, Yogesh Sarda, is a Personal Development trainer and workshop facilitator with over 20 years experience leading seminars and workshops on self-awareness and meditation around the world. Yogesh was born in Africa, with an Indian background, and was brought up in London and Oxford, England. Yogesh captivated the audience with his vision and his experience of self-awareness, self-compassion and cultivating a growth-mindset. Participants learned several simple practices that can easily be applied in both the personal and professional realm, and they really appreciated Yogesh’s wisdom, calming influence and great sense of humour.
