New York College is now a member of the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO)
New York College is now a member of the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO), an invaluable collaboration which allows our students access to the BIMCO library and services, events and further training programs. BIMCO’s wide range of information includes standard ready contracts like Charterparty Agreements and Agency Appointment Agreements, through to Cargo specific contracts (oil, gas, or in bulk).
Furthermore, it provides information on matters of Security (Piracy and Cyber), Safety, Crew Support, Insurance, Trade and even Environmental Protection. It is an invaluable asset adding to the experience of all shipping students at New York College.
