The SUNY Board of Trustees has appointed Greek-born Jim Malatras as the new (14th) Chancellor of STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK, the largest comprehensive University in the USA, with 64 campuses and 420,000 students. Jim Malatras assumed his duties in the leadership of SUNY on August 31, 2020.

An Online Event about Olive Oil, Organized by New York College, with Distinguished Speakers and Greetings by Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Mr. Angelos Syrigos, and Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mrs. Fotini Arampatzi

Distinguished speakers participated on Thursday, April 1st 2021, at the Online Conference about Olive Oil, which was organized by the Departments of Dietetics-Nutrition and Biomedicine of New York College.

GOOD NEWS for the students and staff of New York College that participated in COVID-19 molecular testing on October 23rd on the initiative of the Region of Attica, in the presence of Regional Governor Mr. G. Patoulis

The Covid-19 virus Molecular Detection (rRT-PCR) diagnostic tests were carried out by a specialized team of Doctors and Nurses from the Attica Region and the Medical Association of Athens. The Regional Governor of Attica George Patoulis closely monitored the entire process and discussed the new data of the pandemic with both teachers and students of the New York College educational group.

Quality education and health safety are the two pillars of the New York College mission for the progress and prosperity of our students. Using this as our guide and empowered by your excellent response we emerged as winners during the first battle against the dangerous pandemic. The students did not miss any scheduled teaching hours, senior students graduated on time and therefore, we received our partner Universities’ warmest congratulations.

In this second, last but also most challenging battle, we are now all more experienced, strong, and ready to win once again giving our best and following faithfully the latest governmental measures (Government Gazette 4829 / Β / 2-11-2020).
