Counseling Service supports the psychological and emotional well-being of NYC students by providing counseling and consultation, both of which adhere to strict standards of confidentiality. Counseling is an opportunity to talk with a mental health professional regarding issues, such as self-esteem, well-being and personal growth or concerns linked with academic progress and close relationships. Individual sessions are offered for free to all students enrolled in the NYC and last 45 minutes.
The Service is available on Monday & Tuesday (Kallithea Campus, 5th floor). Students requesting an appointment for the first time will be scheduled through a phone call with the student counselor (Tel.: 210 4838071) or they could send their request via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Counselling Service is composed of three members: a psychologist, Dr Katerina Karageorgou, and two trainee CBT psychotherapists, Rim Kalboussi and Sofia Mertyri.
