Irene Barranco Garcia - Collaborations, Compliance and Copyright Manager at the University of Greenwich visited New York College Athens and met with students currently enrolled at bachelor and master programmes of the University to guide them in using the University’s wide range of e-resources available to students in Athens.

Dr. Kyriaki Koukouraki participated as a speaker and represented New York College at the BALEAP PIM Conference on Intercultural Communication and EAP which took place at Nottingham Trent University on the 18th November. The event was organized by BALEAP and BAAL Intercultural Communication SIG in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham UK
On 4th and 5th December the Department of Psychology at New York College welcomed Dr Rebecca Smith, Senior Lecturer at the University of Greenwich. During her visit Dr Smith gave a talk to psychology undergraduates studying on the University of Greenwich BSc (hons) Psychology at NYC Athens entitled “Terror Management Theory: A critical review”.

On Thursday 23rd November, the Department of Psychology at New York College organized a talk by Dr Marsha Koletsi, a Psychologist specialized in the treatment of Eating Disorders using Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (PhD, University of Sheffield, UK), entitled "CBT-E for Eating Disorders: Analysis of a Case Study of an Anorexic Client".

On the 7th of July, the University of New York Tirana held its 12th annual graduation ceremony, at the Xibraku Resort, celebrating the accomplishments of 140 graduating students.
The students of the BA (Hons) English and English Language Teaching of the University of Greenwich offered at New York College stand out at their teaching practice sessions.
During the weekend of 6–7 May a group of Computer Science students participated at the “Athens Mini Maker Faire” event, presenting their projects in the New York College booth. And it was time well spent, indeed!
