On Wednesday, December 7th, the New York College organized a lecture by Artemios Miropoulos, Managing Partner of LINKAGE Greece & President of the AmCham Leadership Committee, who presented three unique leadership stories taken from his book entitled: «The Nameless King, 15 Leadership Stories from Ancient Greece".

It was a great delight to welcome Her Excellency today at the University of New York Tirana premises. Students and lecturers had the chance to attend an open speech on ‘the European Union and security challenges’. The Ambassador’s talk was followed by student’s questions and a positive challenging exchange of opinions.

New York College Christmas charity bazaar
Νew York College Student Affairs Department organized a Christmas Bazaar to raise funds for the support of the N.G.O "Kivotos tou Kosmou" -Care and protection of mothers and their children. The annual Christmas Bazaar was held on the 6th -7th -8th of December 2016, 11.00 to 19.00 in the main building of NYC, Amalias 38 Syntagma. A big thanks to everyone who contributed! TESOL Macedonia Thrace “Welcome Back Event” September 25th 2016
The Seminar-Workshop opened with Ms Foteini Malkogeorgou, Academic director of the English Department and lecturer at New York College, Thessaloniki Campus. Visit of the Ambassador Fawwaz Al - Eitan of Jordan in Greece at NYC
On November 18, 2016, Ambassador Fawwaz Al - Eitan of Jordan in Greece, was the guest speaker at a lecture before the International Relations students of New York College. During the questions and answers session that followed, students under the supervision Mr. Leonidas Gontzes, Associate Dean and Head of the International Relations Department of New York College, had the opportunity to ask the Ambassador international relations-themed questions.
Psychology Lecture at New York College: "Play Therapy: speaking to children in their own language"
On Tuesday 8th November, the Department of Psychology at New York College organized the first of the monthly Psychology Invited Speaker Series for the academic year 2016-17. Ms Nefeli Koskina, MA, Play Therapist (Canterbury Christchurch University, Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy, UK) and Counseling Psychologist (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) trained in Person-Centered Counselling (Strathclyde University, UK) gave a talk entitled "play therapy: speaking to children in their own language".
Visit of the Czech Republic ambassador at New York College
On November 7, 2016, His Excellency Mr. Jan Bondy Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Greece, was invited by New York College to deliver a lecture on his country. During the questions and answers session that followed, students had the opportunity to ask the Ambassador questions about the Czech Republic. The Ambassador’s visit was of particular significance in light of the presence of the University of New York in Prague (UNYP), member of the New York College Educational Group, in the Czech Republic.
